Devils Lake Regional Airport adds new afternoon flights on weekends
Posted on 5/18/2008

Northwest Airlines has added flight legs to and from Minneapolis/Saint Paul from Devils Lake Regional Airport through Grand Forks International Airport.

Formerly, the afternoon flight through Grand Forks was available Monday through Friday. Now, it is available seven days a week.

This change was made in response to visitors who didn''t want to waste a weekend day waiting for flights--the fishing beckoned! Also, this will help accommodate the training regime for Camp Grafton soldiers. The afternoon flight departs Minneapolis Saint-Paul shortly after 11 a.m. and arrives in Devils Lake around 1:30 p.m. The aircraft is scheduled to depart at 2 p.m. from Devils Lake, arriving around 4:30 p.m. at the Minneapolis Airport. On both legs, there is a brief stop at Grand Forks Airport to allow passengers to board and disembark.

If you have ideas for better flight times, feel free to contact the airport manager.
